Elishka Lane
Elishka Lane is an actor and theatre-maker from County Wexford. She is a graduate of Drama and Theatre Studies at Trinity College Dublin and recently trained with Helena Walsh.
She is a founding member of Gift Horse Theatre and creative producer and lead ensemble member for the company. Gift Horse have staged 3 sold out open air tours (Tess, Twelfth Night, War and Peace) and most recently staged DON’T COPY ME, an original piece commissioned for the 30th anniversary of the Samuel Beckett Theatre.
Elishka is a member of Broad Strokes Improv, an all female comedy improv troupe. Broad Strokes perform regularly in Dublin venues and have performed two sold out runs at Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2022 & 2023. They debuted a new show B.S Incorporated as a part of Dublin Fringe Festival 2023 for which they were nominated for ‘Best Ensemble’ at the Dublin Fringe Awards 2023.
Her recent screen credits include Vikings Season 6 (MGM), An Irish Song (David Keenan Music Video, dir. Ellius Grace), A Simple Life (Kynsy Music Video, dir. Eilis O’Doherty) and Lenka (DU Film). Her recent stage credits include Poor Beast in The Rain (Four Rivers), Harvest (Green House Theatre London), Waiting for Faro (Viking Theatre), Happy Birthday Dear Alice (Four Rivers, National Tour), for which she was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the Green Room Theatre Awards 2022 and Tender Napalm (Smock Alley Theatre).
