Evanne Kilgallon
Evanne is an Actor & Writer from the west of Ireland, with bases in Dublin and Kilkenny. She is a fluent Irish speaker.
A graduate of the Institute of The Arts Barcelona where she studied BA Musical Theatre for a year and completed her studies with a first class honors degree in BA Acting, she has a background in both Acting and Musical Theatre, beginning at a young age. Her final production in university saw her take on the lead role in Federico García Lorca’s epic ‘YERMA’.
Evanne recently wrote and starred in her playwriting debut ‘AN LÁR’ (Glass Mask Theatre) in December 2022 to great acclaim. A member of the GMT ensemble, she has also starred in ‘The Twenty Club’, ‘Talk To Me’ and ‘Summerhill’ at the theatre. She is currently filming the role of Kate in ‘Obituary’ a new 6 part series (RTÉ/HULU).
While still in full time studies, Evanne featured as part of the Women’s History Months’ online celebration for IATI Latinx theatre in New York City in the bilingual production ‘NUESTRA CASA ENVUELTA EN LLAMAS’ by Catalonian writer-director Sílvia Navarro.
Voice Credits include the radio play ‘An Robálaí’ (An tOireachtas) for Seachtain na Gaeilge and the Narrator in Irish for Portuguese short film ‘Rouge’ (Dawn Road Productions).
