Sharon Mannion

Sharons TV credits include Prosperity, The Clinic, Hubble (RTE), and Ros na Run (TG4), as well as several successful short films such as ‘Slots’ (Hawkeye Films) and ‘Spanx & Eve’ (Virtual Cinema). Favourite Theatre credits include ‘Oh What a Lovely War’ with Bruiser Theatre Company and a European tour with The Irish Actors Theatre Company.

Sharon is also a highly accomplished stand up comedian, comedy improviser and sketch writer. She performs weekly with ‘The Dublin Comedy Improv’ www.comedyimprov.eu, and ‘The Craic Pack’  www.thecraicpack.com.

She won the Best Stand up award at the Fr. Ted Festival (Tedfest ’07), and has been a finalist in the UK and Ireland Funny Women and Bulmers International Comedy Festival – Best Newcomer Competitions.

A founding member of comedy sketch group Ghost Train Willy (www.ghosttrainwilly.com), in the summer of 2010 she was thrilled to receive a scholarship to study at the highly prestigious Second City and iO Theatres, Chicago, USA.
