Barry Morgan

Barry is originally from Drogheda and trained in the D.I.T.’s Conservatory of Music and Drama, where he studied different methods of acting including Meisner, Stanislavski, Checkov and Zinder. Barry has worked extensively with Youth Theatre’s as a Director, Producer and Facilitator. Directing credits include Denis Kelly’s (Love & Money) and (Midsummer Night’s Dream) as well as original devised pieces (Secret Project Seven) and (Cagebirds) He has also been trained in Stage combat, contemporary dance and movement, singing, drama facilitation and theatre in education. Previous credits include, The Rookie (Howie The Rookie), Reverend Hale (The Crucible), ┬áLysander (Midsummer Nights Dream), Garcin (Huis Clos), Frank (Killed By Curriculum), ┬áC (Terminus), and Ackey (246 Letters).

Barry is currently appearing in The Ark, Temple Bar as part of the Roll Up! Roll Up! Circus celebration, directed by Raymond Keane. Barry is also in rehearsal for a new theatre piece called FUSED which will appear as part of this years Dublin Fringe Festival. FUSED runs from September 10th – 14th in The Lir Theatre
