Danny Kehoe
Danny has been an Actor, Comedian and Improviser since 2004, having begun his career at the infamous Black Box Theatre (Dublin). He then studied voice & movement in Trinity College and drama for four years at the Liberties College. TV & Theatre credits include: Dan Jones – Baptism of Hire, Barry – Moone Boy (series 2), Talent MC – Nick Nickleby, Billy the cameraman Mattie – series 2, various characters (hidden camera) on Zig & Zag’s Super Bloopers series 1 & 2, Security Man (recurring character) & Tommo Whelan (recurring character, Ghost Train Willy – Sketch Group) on “The Republic of Telly” (RTE), “The Offside show” (TV3), “Hubble” (RTE), “Someone who’ll watch over me” (Various venues) “West Side Story” (An Draiocht) and “A Little Night Music” (O Reilly Theatre) to name but a few.
As a comedian, Danny performs Improvised Comedy regularly with the Dublin Comedy Improv (The International) and The Craic Pack (Bankers). He has performed all over the country and has been invited to perform at many major festivals both at home and abroad. Danny was a member of the first Irish Comedy Sportz team who were invited to the CSZ Tournament (Milwaukee, USA) in 2004. He reached the semi-finals of So You Think You’re Funny at the Edinburgh Festival (’05), and the semi-finals of The Best Newcomer Competition at the Bulmer’s International Comedy Festival (Dublin) in the same year. He is now a regular host at clubs across the country. Danny is a co-founder of Ghost Train Willy Sketch Comedy Group, one of the most exciting acts to emerge in recent years.
In 2010, Danny was honoured to receive a scholarship to spend the summer studying improvisation and writing at the highly prestigious Second City and IO Theatres in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
Danny is also a well established Voice Over Artist.
