Paddy McEneaney

Paddy has just completed filming on the short Lullula where he played the part of Colm. Lullala is written and directed by Roisin Loughrey and was funded with the support of the Directors Guild Award.

In 2022  Paddy received an Agility Award from The Arts Council for Exploration of comedy performance for Screen With Roisin Loughrey. This culminated in youtube short The Irish Office By Joel Smith, Directed By Roisin Loughrey.

With Abu Media he performed in Mobs Mherica, (The Irish mob) character Mickey Featherstone. (Available on Netflix), Seactar na Casca character William T Cosgrove and Road to The Whitehouse playing Boss Croker.

He has also appeared in numerous roles in short films and appeared in Ros Na Run as Daithi De Barra.

His most recent performance on stage has been with Exit Does Theatre in Ante Beckett; a solo show written by Joel Smith and directed by John Carty. The performance earned a 4 star rating by the highly regarded Mervyn Stutter Pick of Fringe at the Edinburgh fringe festival.

Paddy also recently performed in Hairy Jaysus By Donal O Kelly,  another solo show where he plays a multitude of characters in a play tracking the final days of Irish pacifist and activist Francis Sheehy Skeffington.

Paddy plays multiple characters in Moytura a children’s show based on the Irish Myth of the same name, devised and performed with Jay Ryan and touring nationwide this spring.

He is founder and Artistic Director of Exit Does Theatre.

With the company Paddy has produced five professional shows directing, devising and performing. Through this he has developed a high level of skill in collaborative environments and can improvise and devise work.

Paddy has trained in Etienne De Crux corporeal mime and has good comic timing.

His singing voice is particularly suited to folk and rock and he is a confident mover having previously danced Charleston, Waltz, Jive and chorus line on stage.
