Rick Burn

Rick is a graduate of the Gaiety School of Acting’s Full Time course; he then furthered his studies in The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York.

So far this year Rick has played the part of Jack Patterson in the post production shoot of the new feature Dream House directed by Jim Sheridan and starring Saoirse Ronan. Rick can be seen in HBO’s Game of Thrones on Sky Atlantic which airs this summer 2011 and later in the year in the second series of Mattie for RTE starring Pat Short.

Other TV and Film work includes The Tudors for Showtime/BBC/CBC directed by Colm McCarthy, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea for Max Curious Productions. Situations Vacant for Grand Pictures directed by Lisa Mulcahy. Heist for Rotunda Films directed by Kevin Shields. Kill Anny for Screenstar Films directed by Barrie Mac Neill. The Fare for Focal Point Productions directed by Michael Brown. Television for Collective Productions directed by Eoin O’Faolain. Rick also made his directing debut in 2010 with short film Success.

Recent Theatre Credits Include: Canker at the New Theatre, Samson and Dalila at The Gaiety Theatre directed by Roberto Oswald, There will be Rain at Electric Picnic and The Hunter Returns at the Project Arts Centre directed Liam Halligan. He appeared in Miss Julie directed by Michael Baker-Caven for Landmark Productions at the Project Arts Centre, The Angels Shall Rejoice for Crazy Dog Audio Theatre directed by Roger Gregg, Fast Times at Theatre@36, Rigoletto at The Gaiety Theatre directed by Roberto Oswald.
