Tim Landers
Tim made his professional stage debut as Lane in The Importance of Being Earnest at Taibhearc na Gallimhe in 1992, other theatre work has includes Michael the narrator in Dancing at Lughnasa and Gar Public in Philadelphia, Here I Come also at An Taibhearc, the highlight of his career to date being Mr Lipari in the sell out run of A View From The Bridge at the Gate alongside John Kavanagh, Cathy Belton and Aidan Kelly which was nominated for best irish production in the Irish Theatre Awards in 2005.
Tim has numerous musical theatre roles under his belt including Jud Fry in Oklahoma and Davy Sanders in the world premiere of the operetta Come The Dawn, both at the Town Hall Theatre Galway, Father in the Irish premiere of Children of Eden at Siamsa Tire, Tralee and Tim also appeared at the Gaiety as Parchester in the musical Me and My Girl alongside Glynis Casson.
Tim has had voice training with Sharon Reidy of the Kerry Choral Union and has a very strong belt tenor voice.
Panto work includes Santa in Shay Healy’s Santas Xmas Mystery at the SFX and national tour and Captain Fahkeem in Sinbad at the Playhouse Theatre, Harlow, Essex.
Film work includes the feature Situations Vacant, released in late 2009 by Grand Pictures and directed by Lisa Mulcahy, Hooligans the movie directed by Canadian filmmakers the Scullion brothers which was premiered at the Boston Film festival, short film musical The Man in 301 which premiered at the Rotterdam Film Festival and the short film Redemption, released by Realt Entertainment and directed by Brian Eustace.
Tv work includes the role of Sylvie in Val Falvey TD, Big Diddy’s bouncer in Killinaskully season 4 beside Brendan Grace (RTE), he also appeared as Brian in TG4’s Paddywhackery directed by Daniel O’Hara, also he appeared as the character of Frank alongside Gina Mc Kee, Orla fitzgerald and Aisling O Sullivan in the ITV drama premiere The Baby War. Tim has also played Sean the drug dealer in a recurring role in the TG4 soap Ros na Run. And he appeared as convicted murderer Eugene Daly in the Leargas docu-drama Last Man Standing.
