Fred McCloskey
From Galway City, Fred has worked as a professional actor, musician and voiceover artist for over 30 years. A talented singer, Fred began his acting career with Macnas Theatre in Galway in 1992 . Over the next 10 years, he traveled the world with Macnas, creating Theater and spectacle based on Irish mythology, such as Tain, Sweeney, and Balor. Fred has also worked with U2, when Macnas created a pre show spectacle, for the European leg of the Zooropa Tour.

Freds Film/TV credits include Death of a Ladies Man (Corey Marr Productions),Penny Dreadful (Showtime), Rebellion (RTE), Out of Innocence (Telegael), Stay (Samson films), Corp agus Anam (TG4),The Girl (Green Sky Productions), Jack Taylor (Magma Films), Lucky Run (Winner of RTE online drama competition), The Sea (Samson Films), Wrecking the Rising (TG4). Fred also played the lead rolein The Plan Was Good Till Mannion Spoke an award winning short film by Backhouse Films.
Freds many theatre credits include, The Playboy of the Western World (Michael James), Waiting for Godot (Pozzo), Dancing at Lughnasa (Gerry Evans), Riverside Drive (Fred), The Prince of Denmark and An Awful Savage Thing both produced by Electric Bridget (Galway).
